Why I began making cakes:
It all started on a whim, I decided to attend sugar craft classes at our local school: I will never forget that first evening, most of the ladies seemed to be there for the sole purpose of making their daughters weddings cakes, thank-goodness I was only doing it for FUN! (or so I thought) God had a plan and he hadn’t let me in on the secret yet: That was God’s grace working …in my life: The wonderful and amazing thing about my walk with the Lord has been his patience and tender loving care, knowing my tendency to become fearful and anxious; God never lets me know what he is doing until it is just too late to turn back!! If I had heard God’s voice saying I want you to make your daughter’s wedding cake I would undoubtedly have said an undisputed NO NO NO I can’t do that: I went on to enjoy cake making: I brought all the necessary equipment: I made my daughter’s wedding cake:

I hope you have enjoyed this Christmas 2011 slideshow? God says he know the plans he has for us!!!!!!!!!!!! Plans to proser and not to harm!!! You may be saying now ‘Oh yes Angie but what about all the suffering in he world what about all the pain!!
Well that’s what God said too: ‘He sent his son into the world’ And what happened? Well …..Jesus Christ lived a good life. When he was 30 he went out and healed the sick : delivered people from opression: set the captives free!! YOU MAY BE SAYING, ‘THAT’S HISTORY’
WHAT DID PEOPLE EVENTUALLY DO TO HIM? Well they did not release him when condemmened to death, no, instead they shouted crucify him!!!!!!!!!! Jesus Christ knows what it is like to be condemened, hated and killed, even though he did no one any harm, healing those who were sick and delivering all from demonic opression: Result…….Crucifixation!!!! Think about this in 2012……Jesus Christ said anybody who wants to follow him must take up his cross!!!! Will you do that? It may mean denying yourself of some pleasure. It may mean being thankful in distressing circumstances!! Forgiving those who persecute you!! Or just forgiving those who are just plain nasty and filled with hatred!!Loving them with God’s love, praying for them!!!
2012…………….Jesus said : Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who ill treat you. Luke:6- 28 Do you love enough to to that ………..this is my cry for 2012….Will you ‘Take up your cross and follow Christ!!

Have you heard about the butterfly effect? In physics, it describes how tiny changes in initial conditions (such as the flap of a butterfly’s wings) can affect weather thousands of miles away. Imagine – a fragile butterfly can alter weather patterns on another continent! Had it not flapped its wings, the trajectory of the weather system might have been vastly different. What can you learn from this? You may feel insignificant at times, as fragile as the butterfly. It may seem like you’re just flapping your wings when you are standing alone for truth and honesty in the workplace or the home. You say, ‘What can I do in the face of a problem this big?’ More than you think! Your faith, your words, your deeds, your prayers, your example, your kindness and persistence can release the power of God and activate the forces of heaven to go to work in that situation. God loves to use things that we consider to be insignificant, like Moses’ rod which parted the Red Sea, or David’s slingshot that brought down a giant, or a boy’s lunch that fed a multitude. Your flapping wings can initiate changes that will influence lives around you for all eternity. Jesus said, ‘If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “move from here to there,” and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you’ (Matthew17:20 NKJV). It’s not about the size of the seed you sow, but about the God Who can make it grow. It’s not about the prayer you pray but about the greatness of One Who answers prayer.

Everything French: God has plans for our lives
Everything French
In 1985 God finally got my attention , I became a Christian; life would never be the same! The Holy Spirit began to transform me . At school I had been a rebel! Result failed ‘O’ level English, this had been my best subject and as teachers favourite I had disappointed her faith in me. That was the first issue God addressed, I began evening classes at our local comprehensive school and re-took my English ‘O’ level; unknown to me that was the very last year for ‘O’ levels, GCSE replaced them the following year, isn’t God’s timing perfect!, also our teacher was a born again Christian certainly God had gone before me!! After gaining my ‘O’ level I began to wonder what I should study next; a short time later during the course of one day three completely different people independently said “why don’t you study French” after the third person said this I realized this must be a word from God for me. A friend at Church actually taught a French class so I quickly enrolled on her course. Unfortunately after two weeks I decided it was not for me and gave up. About four years later we became involved with a group that exchanged holidays with French families. On our first visit we were excited to be staying with a lovely family in a beautiful typical French farmhouse and praise the Lord there was even a French Bible next to our bed! Immediately I was convicted of my sin in giving up so easily my French lessons, if I had been obedient to Gods leading I would by that time have been reasonably fluent, what a hard lesson. On our return home Gerry and I enrolled on a two-year French course at our local evening school. That was the start of 20 wonderful years of French holidays and exchanges, we have visited every department in that wonderful country, France feels like our second home. On one memorable visit we were enthralled to be taken up in a light aircraft we flew over Mont-Saint-Michel in our own private plane. In 2009 on our visit to France we re- visited Mont-Saint Michel this time in a coach; as we approached that inspiring spectacle the I -pod I was listening to on a random shuffle chose a spoken Scripture; A very unlikely choice as my I- pod is 99% music. It was about an Angel going before us to oppose those that oppose us. We duly climbed to the Basilica at the top where we took a guided tour. The first statue we were shown was of the Archangel Michael and informed how he was there to go before us to fight evil on our behalf. Thank-you Lord we are precious in your sight you send your Angel ahead. You will do the same for all who obey and fear the Lord.
